Product Development Manager

The Product Development Manager is responsible for the innovation of new products from conception to launch. This role involves overseeing cross-functional teams, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, while ensuring the product aligns with the company's goals and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Heavily focused on Design for new products
  • Build and implement product strategies consistent with company vision
  • Rapidly grow existing categories through strong sourcing with external suppliers
  • Become the subject matter expert in various materials for key categories to improve existing products including, but not limited to; toilets (ceramic), sinks (ceramic, concrete), faucets (brass, stainless steel), and bathtubs (acrylic)
  • Launch all products with a quality-first mindset, while adhering to company and industry standards
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends to make informed product decisions
  • Oversee the product pre-launch process, coordinating with Marketing, Data, and Supply Chain to ensure a smooth launch execution
  • Analyze and resolve product performance issues post-launch, collaborating with customer support and quality control teams
  • Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure products are able to meet production deadlines
  • Assistance with the creation of all product user and installation manuals
  • Communicate project status, updates, and potential roadblocks to senior leadership
  • All other duties and projects as assigned.

Enterprise Sales Representative

The Enterprise Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving sales growth and fostering strong relationships with wholesale customers. Representing Swiss Madison as a premium brand in the plumbing and home improvement industry, this position focuses on building trust with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and support.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation:
    • Proactively identify and engage new customers to drive sales for Swiss Madison.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through direct sales calls, in-person meetings, and follow-up communication.
    • Assist customers in selecting the most suitable products to meet their needs.
    • Present and demonstrate Swiss Madison’s unique features and benefits to prospective buyers effectively.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Swiss Madison’s product lines, including specifications, features, and pricing.
    • Educate customers on technical product details to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Customer Support:
    • Provide comprehensive pre-sale and post-sale support to customers.
    • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and manage product returns professionally.
    • Recommend additional products or services to enhance the customer experience.
  • Sales Reporting & Documentation:
    • Accurately track and record sales activities, leads, and conversions.
    • Submit regular sales reports and performance metrics.
    • Maintain an organized database of customer contact information and sales history.
  • Collaboration:
    • Partner with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and boost sales.
    • Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
  • Meet and Exceed Sales Targets:
    • Consistently work toward achieving or surpassing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals established by the company.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the home improvement or plumbing industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Proactive and well-organized, capable of taking initiative, adapting to challenges, and demonstrating ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address customer needs effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to manage sales processes and documentation efficiently.
  • Ability to travel for in-person meetings with customers as needed.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Financial Controller

The Financial Controller is the financial lead of the business, collaborating with the CEO and COO on major financial decisions for the Company. The Financial Controller will report to the COO. Responsible for monthly close, financial planning and reporting, cash flow management, inventory reporting, profit analysis, risk management, leases and contracts, banking relationships/audits, and government reporting/audits as needed.

  • Monthly Financial Statements and cost analysis
  • Preparation of Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasts

  • Pricing and Profit Analysis
  • Loan and Capital Asset Management

  • Oversee Annual Audit/Review

  • Sales Tax Reporting
  • Human Resources Oversight of Payroll and Benefits
  • All other duties and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Small Businesses
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in financial software, advanced Excel skills, and a strong aptitude for leveraging technology to streamline financial processes and reporting.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong finance based analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience in GAAP
  • Innovative and critical thinking
