We love seeing Swiss Madison products in real homes. When you tag #MySwissMadison or mention @swissmadison on social media, we may request to feature your photo or video across our own channels — our website, product pages, email newsletters, and social media.
By responding to our request (for example, by commenting or replying with #MySwissMadison, or by submitting your content through a form we provide), you, the person who created and posted the content ("you," "Content"), agree to the following terms with Swiss Madison ("Swiss Madison," "we," "us"):
1. License grant
You grant Swiss Madison a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, edit, modify, and display your Content — in whole or in part — on:
- swissmadison.com and any Swiss Madison website
- Swiss Madison's social media channels
- Swiss Madison email newsletters and customer communications
- Swiss Madison marketing and advertising materials, including paid ads
This license lasts for as long as we continue to use the Content, and you may request that we stop using it at any time (see Section 5).
2. What we don't do
We won't pay you for use of your Content under these terms, and we're not obligated to use any Content submitted to us, even if it meets our selection criteria. Featuring your Content doesn't create any employment, partnership, or endorsement-deal relationship between you and Swiss Madison.
3. Your promises to us
By submitting Content, you confirm that:
- You own the rights to the photo or video, or have permission from whoever does.
- If other people are visible or identifiable in the Content, you have their permission (or, for anyone under 18, their parent or legal guardian's permission) for Swiss Madison to use it as described above.
- You are at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent to submit Content.
- Your Content doesn't violate any law or infringe on anyone else's rights.
- Your Content isn't violent, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for a home-goods brand's marketing.
4. Release
You release Swiss Madison from any obligation to compensate you for use of your Content, and agree not to bring any claim against Swiss Madison or anyone acting on its behalf arising from our use of the Content as described in these terms.
5. Withdrawing consent
You can ask us to stop using your Content, or to remove it from a specific placement, at any time by emailing info@swissmadison.com. We'll remove it from future use as soon as reasonably possible, though we can't retroactively pull back materials that have already been printed, aired, or distributed.
6. Privacy
Any personal data we collect when you submit Content (e.g., your social handle, name if provided) is used only to feature your Content as described above and to credit or contact you if needed. See our Privacy Policy for more.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
